Custom base rails are specifically designed to fit your vehicle. Required to mount your TruXedo Elevate Rack System, these rails work with both telescoping and fixed racks (sold separately). T-slot channels accept a variety of accessories.

Great product that works with Bakflip MX4 tonneau cover. Combined these rails with 71” Rhino Rack Vortex bars and it all fits perfect. Tonneau cover took some adjustment to fit just right. It sits a little higher now but included are rubber seals to put around so hopefully that helps mitigate any additional water intrusion to the bed area. Very happy with this setup. Rails are very sturdy.
I have a Ford F150 with a Bakflip MX4 Tonneau cover. I also have Thule bike racks that I wanted to mount over the truck bed. I was able to achieve this by using the rails from the Truck Hero Elevate Rack system along with the Thule Rapid Podium foot pack 460 with the fit kit 3101.
While the installation was fairly straight forward it took some adjustments to make the Tonneau cover sit low enough so that there wasn't a large gap at either end. Being able to load the bikes from the ground is a great improvement over mounting them over the cab and having to use a small ladder.
It will also allow me, in the future, to purchase the racks so I take my canoe.

Outstanding craftsmanship. Shipping time was atrocious, however package came in intake and undamaged; well worth the wait. Overall, fantastic product!
A year later these rails have held up really well. No issues at all.
Box was completely ripped open also this part which was suggested bye trailer is the wrong part and a different shorter size now needs to be ordered.
All parts there, better price than real truck.
